What is it?
The UNE 166006 Technological Watch and Competitive Intelligence standard evaluates the processes used to gather internal and external information on science and technology. The aim is to facilitate the formalisation and structuring in any organisation of the selection, analysis, dissemination, and communication processes that transform information into knowledge – this allows companies to make more informed decisions and anticipate technological changes.
In addition, a review is required, not only of the processes, but of the infrastructures and resources available to carry out the activity – all this will be assessed according to the requirements of compliance on the standard and its certification.
