On April 11, OCA Global organized, together with Banco Santander and the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca, a conference to present the challenges and opportunities faced by companies in the province of Zamora in terms of sustainability.
During the meeting, representatives of different companies such as Leche Gaza, Tecozam, Cobadú, Chamber of Commerce, Bodegas Fariña, Aquona, Grupo Recoletas, Omawa, Iberaval or Moralejo Selección explained the actions they are carrying out in environmental, social and good governance matters.
Measures such as carbon footprint calculation, improvements in energy efficiency, corporate social responsibility or compliance, are an opportunity to position their companies in the international market and add a differentiating value for their customers.
The event, which took place in a round table format, was moderated by Arantxa García Elices, head of the Empresas Amigas program at the University of Salamanca, and Patricia Gálvez Delgado, head of Development in Castilla y León at OCA Global and Chief Auditor. During the course of the round table, Patricia, was giving hints of the challenges we face in the coming years at the regulatory level, and the range of opportunities that open up in green finance.
We would like to thank all attendees for their active participation and contribution to the dialogue on corporate sustainability.
